Late Start Friday

Our Late start day has moved back to Friday! Friday's are now the day that everything in Cheney School District is 1 hour later, including classes, busses, and...well that's about it. Teachers and Staff use the 1-hour late starts to hold meetings, collaborate, and more. Please do not drop your student(s) off at the usual time, as they will not be allowed in the building.

When to Keep Your Child Home from School

In order to keep everyone safe at school, please keep your child home if they experience any of the following symptoms: *Harsh, frequent cough *Fever of 100 degrees or above *Sore throat accompanied by fever *Diarrhea and/or vomiting *Rash that appears to be spreading *Children should stay home, away from others, until 72 hours after fever is gone and symptoms get better. When calling to excuse a student absence due to illness, please let school staff know what symptoms your child is experiencing. This will assist the district in monitoring the types of illnesses that are occurring within our schools and community. Thank you for your support!
