We would love to make sure we can connect with you for important messages and emails along with the possibility of a safety concern. The Sunset Times Newsletter, will be digital delivered at the first of each month to your email. We don’t want you to miss it!

Thank you for your partnership. We are so fortunate to work with each of you to ensure your child is learner-ready each day for school. Can you check off this list for us?

• SLEEP- Children 6 to 12 years of age should sleep 9 to 12 hours per 24 hours on a regular basis to promote optimal health.
• ROUTINE- Night time routine  - bath/shower, brush teeth, read… repeat! And remember no tech one hour before bed.
• EAT - Healthy Breakfast (and of course we provide an opportunity once they get to school too!)
• LOVE - Grateful practices - 3 things your child is grateful for each morning.

A few important reminders!  

1. School drop off on King street - please use our sidewalk area for drop off as that is a much safer zone for our kids! School day is 8:50am - 3:20pm. Drop off beginning at 8:30am Monday - Thursday. Friday 9:50-3:20pm with 9:30am drop off.
2. End of day, thank you for parking and picking up your child on King Street.
3. Attendance matters … thank you for having your child here each day on time.

At Sunset we are on the energy bus to provide a positive environment for staff and students alike.  Thank you for creating positive practices at home. We are so proud to serve you and our Sunset community.
