This Is Sunset!

Home to over 600 students in preschool through fifth grade, Sunset Elementary is a vibrant and welcoming part of the Airway Heights community. We proudly serve a diverse population, with families representing 18 different languages and cultural backgrounds. Our staff is dedicated to supporting the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—by creating a safe, inclusive, and caring learning environment where every student can thrive.

At Sunset, we work to meet the individual needs of every learner. This includes providing a range of academic and social-emotional supports, recognizing that each student brings unique strengths and experiences to the classroom. We value the different backgrounds, languages, and perspectives our students and families share, and we believe strong school-home partnerships are essential to student success. Together, we create a school community where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Monday - Thursday:
Drop-off from 8:30 to 8:55 a.m. @ Front Parking Lot Loop 
Class starts at 9:00 a.m.

Friday Late Start:
Drop-off from 9:30 to 9:55 a.m.@ Front Parking Lot Loop 
Class starts at 10:00 a.m.

Office Hours -  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
