Dear Sunset Elementary Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Sunset Elementary! We are proud to serve a diverse community of more than 600 students in grades PreK–5. Each child who walks through our doors brings unique strengths, and together they make our school a vibrant place to learn and grow.

At Sunset, we are chasing greatness every day. Our staff is committed to being all in for all kids. As a team, we work to provide the care, support, and high expectations that ensure every student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

I am grateful to lead alongside two assistant principals, Ms. Smithley and Mrs. Oscarson. Together, we are dedicated to working in partnership with families and the community to build a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.

We look forward to an incredible year ahead—filled with growth, learning, and opportunities for our students to shine. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being an essential part of our Sunset family.
